Recent AD/CV Scope Ruling Requests

Steel Nails From Vietnam (A-552-818/C-552-819). OMG requests that Commerce find its zinc masonry anchors, consisting of a zinc casing and a steel pin, are not covered by AD duties because zinc anchors are not subject to the order. Filed Aug. 5.
Circular Welded Non-Alloy Steel Pipe From Mexico (A-201-805). Sumitomo asks that Commerce find its mechanical tubes used as automobile suspension bushings and in a high pressure cylinder system for construction equipment are not subject to duties because they are not made to ASTM A-53 specification. Filed Aug. 9.
Aluminum Extrusions From China (A-570-967/C-570-968). Woodard asks that Commerce find its dining chair kit is exempt from AD/CV duties as a finished goods kit. Filed Aug. 10.
Corrosion-Resistant Steel Products From China (A-570-026/C-570-027). Unitape requests Commerce find its chromium plated steel plate is outside the scope of AD/CV duties because it is not coated or plated with any of the metals identified in the scope of the order. Filed Aug. 16.
