Country-wide9.24%

(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original investigation, but the manufacturer is, the cash deposit rate would be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise.

(c) If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered in this or any previous review conducted by the ITA, the cash deposit rate would be 8.43%, the "all others" rate from the original investigation.

The ITA states that because of the extraordinarily large number of softwood lumber producers in Canada, it is conducting this CV duty administrative review on an aggregate basis and has calculated a single, preliminary country-wide CV rate to be applied to all exports of subject merchandise from Canada.

Preliminary Results Not in Effect and May Be Amended

These preliminary results are not in effect and may be amended in the final results of these AD and CV duty administrative reviews which are currently due no later than 180 days from June 14, 2004 (on or about December 7, 2004) because of the ITA's 60 day postponement of the final results for both reviews.

(See AD & CV ITA notices for more information, including the scope of the reviews, hearing request and comment submission requirements, and informative, footnotes on certain companies. See ITT's Online Archives or 07/02/03 news, 03070230, for BP summary of the initiation of these AD and CV duty administrative reviews of certain softwood lumber products from Canada.)
