3. Final Rule Issued on Litigation Management for Terrorism Risk Insurance Program

The Treasury Department has issued a final rule, effective August 27, 2004, concerning litigation management as part of its implementation of Title I of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002. Treasury explains that this final rule is the latest in a series of regulations that it has issued to implement this program. The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has issued a notice announcing the availability of an informational document that describes the process APHIS follows when conducting foreign animal disease status evaluation, regionalization, risk analysis, and related rulemakings.
