Rescission of Antidumping Duty New Shipper Review
CompanyReview Period
Seed Timber Co. Ltd. (Seed Timber)(05/01/03 - 04/30/04)

The ITA states that it is rescinding this AD duty new shipper review because Seed Timber withdrew its request for review.

Bonding is No Longer Permitted (AD Cash Deposit Reinstated)

As a result of this rescission, the ITA states that bonding (in lieu of a cash deposit) is no longer permitted to fulfill AD security requirements for shipments of subject merchandise both produced and exported by Seed Timber that have a time of entry on or after September 10, 2004.

In addition, for such shipments with a time of entry on or after September 10, 2004, ITA sources have confirmed that the AD cash deposit rate will be the "all others" rate of 8.43%.

(See ITA notice for more information. See ITT's Online Archives or 07/12/04 news, 04071235, for BP summary of the initiation of this AD duty new shipper review, as well as the initiation of a countervailing (CV) duty new shipper review, for Seed Timber. ITA sources have confirmed that the CV duty new shipper review for Seed Timber is still ongoing.)
