AD: Japan Melamine in Crystal Form

Effective September 1, 2004, the International Trade Administration (ITA) is revoking the antidumping (AD) duty order (also referred to as a "finding") on melamine in crystal form from Japan as no domestic party responded to the five-year sunset review notice of initiation by the applicable deadline.

The ITA states that its will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to terminate the suspension of liquidation and AD duty deposit requirements for subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after September 1, 2004. The ITA explains that entries of subject merchandise prior to September 1, 2004 will continue to be subject to suspension of liquidation and AD duty deposit requirements.

The ITA states that it will complete any pending administrative reviews of this order and will conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise entered prior to September 1, 2004 in response to appropriately filed requests for review.
