Updated Industry User Manual on D-Trade Available

The March 24, 2005 version of the D-Trade Industry User Manual, which was prepared by a private firm for the State Department, is available on the D-Trade Information Center Web page.

(The Defense Trade Controls Applications System (D-Trade) is an electronic means for filing the Application for Permanent Export of Unclassified Defense Articles and Related Technical Data (DSP-5) and required supporting documentation.

In April 2005, the State Department's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) announced that a new D-Trade DSP-5 v2.0 would be required for submissions starting May 2, 2005. At that time, the State Department urged filers to download, among other things, the March 24, 2005 version of the D-Trade Industry User Manual.
