| Final Results of AD Duty Administrative Review |
|---|
AD Cash Deposit Rate for a Time of Entry on or After 02/10/06:
| Company | AD Rate or Note |
|---|---|
| China Kingdom International | 223.01% |
| Weishan Zhenyu Foodstuff Co., Ltd. | 223.01% |
| Yancheng Hi-King Agriculture Developing Co., Ltd. | 32.57% |
| China-wide Rate (including Yancheng Yaou Seafood Co., Ltd.) | 223.01% |
| Other Companies | (a),(b),(c) |
The ITA states that for assessment purposes for companies with a calculated AD rate, where possible, it has calculated importer-specific AD duty assessment rates for merchandise subject to this review on a per-unit basis (i.e., per kilogram rate).
The ITA states that it will continue to treat Yancheng Yaou and Qingdao Zhengri Seafood Co., Ltd. (Qingdao Zhengri) as a single entity.
(a) The AD cash deposit for China exporters who received a separate rate in a prior segment of the AD proceeding will continue to be the rate assigned in that prior segment;
(b) For all other China exporters of subject merchandise which have not been found to be entitled to a separate rate, the AD cash deposit rate will be the China-wide Rate of 223.01%; and
(c) For all non-China exporters of subject merchandise, the AD cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the China producer that supplied that exporter.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (09/01/03 - 08/31/04)
The ITA will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within 15 days of February 10, 2006.
In addition, the ITA states that it will direct CBP to assess importer-specific AD duty assessment rates based on the resulting per-unit (i.e., per kilogram) rates, which trade sources note may differ significantly from the AD cash deposit rates listed above (which are weighted averages).
(See ITA final results for more information, including the scope of the order, etc. See ITT's Online Archives or 10/19/05 news, 05101925, for BP summary of the preliminary results of this AD duty administrative review and companion preliminary results of a countervailing (CV) duty administrative review for other merchandise from Korea.)
