The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued a press statement from its Chief Veterinary Officer regarding the positive bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) test results of a beef cow from Alabama, the third U.S. case in 27 months. The Washington File reports that the U.S. government is committed to stopping intellectual property theft in China and to protecting the rights of American businesses and innovators with its new four pillar enforcement strategy.
