AD/CV: Brazil and Canada Brass Sheet and Strip
Effective May 1, 2005, the International Trade Administration (ITA) is revoking the antidumping (AD) duty orders on brass sheet and strip from Brazil and Canada, and the countervailing (CV) duty order on brass sheet and strip from Brazil.

(In its AD/CV sunset reviews, the International Trade Commission (ITC) determined that revocation of these AD/CV duty orders would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. The ITA states that it will notify U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to discontinue suspension of liquidation and collection of AD/CV cash deposits on entries of the subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after May 1, 2005.
The ITA notes that it will complete any pending administrative reviews of these AD/CV duty orders and will conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise entered prior to the effective date of revocation in response to appropriately filed requests for review.
