AD Cash Deposit Rate for a Time of Entry on or after 10/04/061:
| Company | AD Cash Deposit Rate or Note |
|---|---|
| Shanghai Taiside Trading Co., Ltd. (Taiside), as both producer and exporter | (a) |
| Wuhan Shino-Food Trade Co., Ltd. (Shino-Food), as both producer and exporter | (b) |
(a) The ITA states that for subject merchandise produced and exported by Taiside, it will establish a per-kilogram cash deposit rate that is equivalent to the company-specific cash deposit rate of 39.63% established in this review.
(b) The ITA is rescinding the new shipper review for Shino-Food as producer and exporter as its one sale was not bona fide. Therefore, the ITA will notify U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that a cash deposit of 212.39% (the current China-wide rate) should be collected for any entries of subject merchandise produced and/or exported by Shino-Food.
Assessment Instructions
The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions for Taiside directly to CBP within 15 days of October 4, 2006. Additionally, the ITA states that, where possible, it has calculated importer-specific duty assessment rates for Taiside on a per-unit (i.e. per kilogram) basis.
1 A recent law (Public Law 109-280) has suspended the option that allows importers to post bond for estimated AD or countervailing (CV) duties until the completion of a new shipper review (except for those involving goods of Canada or Mexico).
