The ITA is correcting an error pertaining to the effective date of the amended final determination.
The ITA states that in its August 29, 2005 Federal Register notice incorrectly stated that it would instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to:
collect cash deposits of estimated countervailing duties in the percentage of 2.45 percent ad valorem of the f.o.b. invoice price on all shipments of subject merchandise from ILVA S.p.A. and ILVA Lamieri e Tubi S.r.L. (ILVA/ILT) entered or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption, on or after April 16, 2004.
The ITA corrects and amends the amended final CV duty determination and order to state that it will instruct CBP to collect cash deposits of estimated CV duties with a time of entry on or after August 29, 2005 (the publication date of the notice in the Federal Register).
(See ITT's Online Archives or 09/01/05 news, 05090130, for BP summary of the amended final CV duty determination and order for certain cut-to-length plate from Italy.)
