2. TWIC Pilot Program Expected to Be Launched at 10 Ports in April

The Journal of Commerce reports that the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) program is moving closer to enactment. According to the article, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) plans to launch the pilot program at 10 ports by April 13, 2007. 3. Five New Members Appointed to Homeland Security Advisory Committee

The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued a press release announcing the appointment of five new members to the Homeland Security Advisory Committee (HSAC) and its senior advisory committees on January 11, 2007 during their quarterly meetings. 4. ITA Proposes Changes to AD/CV Document Submission Procedures, Etc.

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a notice proposing to amend its regulations in antidumping (AD) and countervailing (CV) duty proceedings governing information submitted to the ITA and administrative protective orders in order to improve ITA procedures and provide clarification to some aspects of its regulations. Comments must be received no later than February 28, 2007.
