The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued its final results of the countervailing (CV) duty administrative review of dynamic random access memory semiconductors from Korea for the period of January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004.

(a) The "all others" rate of 44.29% shall apply to all other companies (except Samsung) until a review results in a company receiving its own rate. (Note: The only company reviewed to date is Hynix. In addition, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (Samsung) is excluded from this CV duty order.)

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (01/01/04-12/31/04)

The ITA states that it will instruct CBP to liquidate shipments of DRAMS produced/exported by Hynix with a time of entry during the review period at a CV rate of 31.86% ad valorem of the entered value.
