CBP has issued a notice regarding the extension, through September 30, 2007, of the aggregate tariff preference level (TPL) for apparel that is eligible to receive duty-free treatment under the Andean Trade Promotion and Drug Eradication Act (ATPDEA) as specified in HTS 9821.11.25 for the 12 month period of October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007 (was previously set to expire on June 30, 2007). (Note that the level was not changed; only the period was extended.)

1. ATPDEA Aggregate Regional Apparel TPL Extended to 12 Months
According to CBP sources, the level for the October 1, 2007 through February 29, 2008 period will be issued by CBP once this information is released by the Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements (CITA). 2. Next Group of Ports for Mandatory e-Manifest: Truck for Advance Cargo Information
CBP has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that it published in the July 18, 2007 Federal Register a notice announcing that e-Manifest: Truck for advance cargo information purposes would be mandated for all land border ports in Maine and Minnesota. The requirement to submit e-Manifests at these ports will be implemented on October 16, 2007. 3. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages U.S. Customs Border and Protection issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
