AD/CV: Argentina, Kazakhstan, Romania, South Africa Certain Hot-Rolled Carbon Steel Flat Products
The International Trade Administration has issued a notice announcing that it is revoking the antidumping duty orders on certain hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from Argentina, Kazakhstan, Romania and South Africa and the countervailing duty orders for Argentina and South Africa, as the International Trade Commission has determined that revocation of these AD and CV duty orders would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time.

AD Duty Orders Revoked Effective Sept. - Dec. 2006
The effective dates of revocation are (1) September 11, 2006 for the CV duty order for Argentina, (2) September 19, 2006 for the AD duty orders for Argentina and South Africa, (3) November 21, 2006 for the AD duty order for Kazakhstan, (4) November 29, 2006 for the AD duty order for Romania, and (5) December 3, 2006 for the CV duty order for South Africa (i.e., the fifth anniversary of the dates of publication in the Federal Register of the notice of the AD and CV duty orders).
The ITA will notify U.S. Customs and Border Protection to discontinue suspension of liquidation and collection of cash deposits on entries of the subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after the effective dates of revocation of these AD and CV duty orders.
The ITA will complete any pending administrative reviews of these orders and will conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise entered prior to the effective dates of revocation in response to appropriately filed requests for review.
