U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted a notice announcing the 2008 tariff rate quotas for agricultural products described in HTS Chapter 99, Subchapter XI, U.S. Notes 4 through 17, excluding U.S. Note 12, with respect to the U.S.-Chile Free Trade Agreement (UCFTA or CFTA). According to CBP, these TRQs will open on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 with the following in-quota (duty-free) quantity limits:

1. 2008 U.S.-Chile FTA Agriculture TRQs Open January 2, 2008

CBP states that the TRQ for artichokes in U.S. Note 13 is expected to oversubscribe at opening. See CBP's notice for additional instructions for entering artichokes, including instructions on entries submitted prior to opening moment.

2. 2008 U.S.-Bahrain FTA Agriculture TRQs Open January 2, 2008

CBP has posted a notice announcing the 2008 TRQs for agricultural products described in HTS Chapter 99, Subchapter XIV, U.S. Notes 3 through 12 with respect to the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement (BFTA).

According to CBP, these TRQs will open on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 with the following in-quota (duty-free) quantity limits:

CBP has posted a notice announcing the 2008 tariff rate quotas for agricultural products described in HTS Chapter 99, Subchapter XII, U.S. Notes 3 through 16, excluding U.S. Note 12, with respect to the U.S.-Morocco Free Trade Agreement (MFTA).

According to CBP, these TRQs will open on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 with the following in-quota (duty-free) quantity limits:

CBP has posted a notice announcing the 2008 tariff rate quotas for agricultural products described in HTS Chapter 99, Subchapter X, U.S. Notes 3 through 12 with respect to the U.S.-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (SFTA).

According to CBP, these TRQs will open on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 with the following in-quota (duty-free) quantity limits:

CBP notes that peanuts in the shell shall be charged against the quota on the basis of 75 kg for each 100 kg of peanuts in the shell (9910.12.05).
