(The Treasury Department has a different semi-annual regulatory agenda for CBP. See future issue of ITT for BP summary of this Treasury document.)

This agenda is a comprehensive list of DHS' CBP rulemakings that are pending at the proposed, final, and completed stages, as well as rulemakings that are long-term actions. The agenda lists the regulation title; past regulation(s), if any; the timeframe for the next regulatory action(s), if any; a brief description of the regulation; and a contact party name and telephone number.

Highlights of DHS' CBP rulemakings that are at the proposed, final, or completed stages, or that are long term actions, are as follows (partial list):

- Letters and Documents; Advanced Electronic Presentation of Cargo Data (withdrawn on 04/22/08)- Documents Required for Travelers Entering the U.S. at Sea and Land Ports-of-Entry from within the Western Hemisphere (final rule effective 06/01/09) (See ITT's Online Archives or 04/04/08 news, 08040405, for BP summary of the final rule on WHTI for land/sea travel.)

(See ITT's Online Archives or 05/07/08 news, 08050705, for BP summary on the availability of CBP and other Federal agency semi-annual regulatory agendas.)
