2. Updated TRQ/TPL "Threshold to Fill" List
CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor tariff rate quotas and tariff preference levels that are approaching the restraint limit or have filled the in-quota (low duty) rate. The list is divided into two sections - quotas that are at least 85% filled and quotas that are closed. 3. CBP Publishes Milk & Cream TRQ Close Date, Updates Workbook
CBP has posted an updated Excel workbook containing historical information and the January 2, 2008 fill date for the TRQ (tariff rate quota) on certain milk and cream, condensed or evaporated for the Netherlands (condensed) and "any country or area" (all) classified under HTS Chapter 4, Additional U.S. Note 11. Certification deadline for disbursement of Byrd Amendment funds. CBP reports that it previously issued a Federal Register notice announcing that any domestic producer who is entitled to file a claim under the Byrd Amendment (aka the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000 (CDSOA)) needs to file their claim no later than July 29, 2008.
