Q&V Questionnaires Due September 4, 2008
To determine the total and relative volume and value of import data for each potential respondent, the ITA normally relies on U.S. Customs and Border Protection import data for the period of investigation (in this case calendar 2007). However, in this proceeding, the tariff numbers for the subject merchandise are very broad, and include products other than products subject to this investigation. Therefore, the ITA will issue Quantity and Value (Q&V) Questionnaires, which are available at http://ia.ita.doc.gov/download/nme-sep-rates/prc-kasr/prc-kasr-cvd-init-qv-082108.pdf, to those China companies (potential respondents) identified in the CV duty petition. Completed questionnaires are due no later than September 4, 2008.
