CBP CSMS Messages and Web Postings

CBP has posted a directive prescribing CBP policies and procedures for (1) handling debit vouchers resulting from defaulted Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) payments related to Automated Broker Interface (ABI) statement processing, and (2) administering the removal of an ACH payor that is responsible for defaulted ACH payments. 2. CBP Revises ICP on Base Metal Mountings and Fittings

CBP has issued a revised version of its informed compliance publication entitled, What Every Member of the Trade Community Should Know About: Base Metal Mountings and Fittings. According to CBP sources, the only revision of substance is the added reference to two recent CBP headquarter rulings in the ICP's description of articles classified under HTS 8302.50, Hat Pegs, Brackets and Similar Fixtures, and Parts Thereof. 3. Updated TRQ/TPL "Threshold to Fill" List

CBP has posted an updated version of its tariff rate quota/tariff preference level "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching the restraint limit or have filled the in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections - those that are at least 85% filled and those that are closed. 4. Updated List of RLF Operational Locations

CBP has posted a document listing the Remote Location Filing (RLF) operational locations. The list includes the port name, port code, the Electronic Invoice Program (EIP)/RLF coordinator, the phone number (and extension, if applicable), and the fax number for each location. CBP has posted an updated list of companies/persons offering Sea Automated Manifest System (AMS) data processing services to the trade community. 6. CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions

The antidumping and countervailing messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
