CBP Chicago Announces HTS/Schedule B Numbers for AES Filing of Relief Supply Exports to Haiti
CBP's Port of Chicago has issued a Pipeline announcing Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Schedule B numbers for the filing of Electronic Export Information via the Automated Export System for relief supplies to Haiti.

HTS/Schedule B Numbers for Required EEI Filing for Relief Supplies to Haiti
CBP states that the Census Bureau will continue to require submission of EEI for all export shipments going to Haiti, including relief supplies.
The following Schedule B/HTS numbers should be utilized when filing the EEI for relief supplies going to Haiti.
9802.10.0000 | Donated Food Products |
9802.20.0000 | Donated Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Products |
9802.30.0000 | Donated Wearing Apparel |
9802.40.0000 | All other donated materials |
(CBP notes that shipments valued under $2500 may cite the EEI exception 15 CFR 30.37(a). The exporter for shipments that qualify for a different EEI exception should cite those exceptions on the shipping documents provided to the carrier.
The exports of goods valued under $2500 should provide the Internal Transaction Number to the carrier. Goods requiring a license for export require the submission of EEI, regardless of value.)
