4. List of RLF Operational Locations

CBP has posted a document listing the Remote Location Filing operational locations. The list includes the port name, port code, the Electronic Invoice Program (EIP)/RLF coordinator, the phone number (and extension, if applicable), and the fax number for each location. 5. March 18th Opening of 180-Day Special Import Quota for Upland Cotton

CBP has issued a memorandum announcing a special import quota of 15,235,940 kg for upland cotton that is provided for in HTS Chapter 99, Subchapter III, U.S. Note 6 and is entered under HTS 9903.52.88. (CBP notes that this quantity is not subject to the TRQs in Chapter 52 Additional U.S. Notes 5 through 10.) The quota period is March 18 - September 13, 2010. To be counted under this quota, the cotton must be imported during this period and purchased not later than June 15, 2010. The opening date is March 18, 2010.
