1. CBP Updates its ACE Programming Issues Report

CBP has posted an updated version of its Open ACE Programming Issues report. The report includes the issue number, date opened, description, status, scheduled delivery date, and comments. Report available by emailing documents@brokerpower.com.
2. CBP Posts Registration Form for May 11 COAC Meeting
CBP has posted an online registration form for the May 11, 2010 COAC meeting in Philadelphia, PA. According to CBP, registration will open on April 15, 2010. (Form, posted 04/12/10, available at https://apps.cbp.gov/te_registration/?w=18)
3. CBP in Savannah Seizes Counterfeit Electronic Components
On April 13, 2010, CBP at the Port of Savannah intercepted and seized 9,000 counterfeit electronic components with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $77,490. The counterfeit electronic components were discovered in a container that had been designated for examination. After determining the items violated trademark laws, the shipment was seized. 4. CBP Posts 2007 Videos on IPR Enforcement

5. CBP Posts 1999 - 2002 IPR Customs Directives
CBP has posted or reposted to its Web site the following IPR-related Customs Directives (which were issued in 1999-2000 and reviewed in 2001-2002):

6. CBP News Releases
CBP has issued the following news releases:
- Baldwin Speech to 5th Global Congress on Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy (dated 12/01/09) which discusses CBP’s first 5 year IPR Enforcement Strategy which includes expanded IPR training of CBP enforcement personnel, improve IPR targeting model efficiency, encouraging the trade to report IPR violations, and improving IPR infringement determination tools and processes.

7. CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
