The ITA initiated this review to determine whether Evotape S.p.A. is the successor-in-interest to Tyco Adhesives Italia S.p.A.; and whether Evotape Packaging S.r.l. and Evotape Masking S.r.l. are successors-in-interest to Evotape S.p.A. for purposes of determining AD liability.

ITA Finds Tyco’s Zero AD Rate Applies to Evotape Companies

The ITA finds that Evotape S.p.A. is the successor-in-interest to Tyco; and that Evotape Packaging and Evotape Masking are both successors-in-interest to Evotape S.p.A for purposes of determining AD liability.

Therefore, Evotape Packaging and Evotape Masking will receive the same AD duty rate with respect to the subject merchandise as Tyco, which is currently 0.00%.

This zero cash deposit rate will apply to all shipments of the subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after May 18, 2010, and shall remain in effect until publication of the final results of the next administrative review in which Evotape participates.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the finding, etc.
