No Domestic Parties Participated in Sunset Review

In May 2010, the ITA initiated a five-year sunset review of subject merchandise from China. Because the domestic interested parties did not file a notice of intent to participate in the sunset review, the ITA finds that no domestic interested party is participating in this sunset review.

(See ITT’s Online Archives or 05/04/10 news, 10050438, for BP summary of the initiation of the sunset review.)

Liquidation Resumes, No AD Cash Deposits Required Effective June 27

The ITA is revoking the order effective June 27, 2010. The ITA will issue instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, within 15 days of July 2, 2010, to terminate the suspension of liquidation and the collection of AD duty cash deposits on subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after June 27, 2010.

Subject merchandisewith a time of entry prior to June 27 will continue to be subject to suspension of liquidation and AD duty deposit requirements.

The ITA will also complete any pending administrative reviews of this order and will conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise entered prior to June 27 in response to appropriately filed requests of review.
