CPSC Updates Test Manual on Children's Sleepwear Flammability

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has updated its laboratory test manual for the Standards for the Flammability of Children’s Sleepwear to assist with the testing procedures specified in these long-standing standards codified at 16 CFR Parts 1615 and 1616.

Diagrams Updated, Tight-Fitting Sleepwear Measurements Info Added

According to CPSC sources, the manual has been updated to include new pictures and diagrams to better explain how the testing is performed and the analysis completed. In addition, there is information regarding the measurements for tight-fitting children’s sleepwear.
