Indonesia’s draft of decree proposes all tarpaulins of synthetic fibers have a product certificate and comply with the requirements of Indonesian National Standards. The product certificate is issued by a Product Certification Body which has been appointed by the Minister of Industry, and testing shall be carried out by the testing laboratories that have been appointed by the Minister of Industry. Testing laboratories outside Indonesia can be appointed by Minister of Industry as long as they are accredited or via multilateral agreement on technical regulation between Government of Indonesia and particular countries. Both domestic and imported products shall meet the standards requirements.
