CBP Announces Adjusted AD Rates for China Magnesia Carbon Bricks

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued an ADD/CVD message which contains adjusted antidumping duty rates under the International Trade Administration's final affirmative AD duty determination on magnesia carbon bricks from China.

(The ITA previously determined that subject merchandise exported by mandatory respondent RHI Refractories Liaoning Co., Ltd. benefitted from export subsidies, and its AD duty rate, as well as the rates for the separate rate respondents, should be adjusted for the export subsidy portion of the rate determined in the final countervailing duty determination.

The AD duty rates listed in the ITA’s original notice of amended preliminary determination were pre-adjusted rates, as the adjusted rates were previously unavailable.)

Adjusted AD Cash Deposit Rates (Reduced for Export Subsidies)

The ITA has directed CBP to require a cash deposit or bond for shipments of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after August 2, 2010 for the following exporter/producer combinations, at the adjusted AD duty rates listed below.
