ban text messaging while operating a commercial motor vehicle. This rulemaking is in response to FMCSA-sponsored studies that analyzed safety incidents and distracted drivers. This rulemaking would also address the National Transportation Safety Board´s "Most Wanted List" of safety recommendations.
