CAMIR Unified Manifest with ISF Transactions Discrepancy to be Corrected
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message announcing an upcoming correction of a discrepancy involving a Customs Automated Manifest Interface Requirements (CAMIR) unified manifest with Importer Security Filing transactions.

Currently in the Automated Manifest System (AMS), when a bill is filed that is reported to be moving inbond, the inbond number is also required to be reported in the manifest transaction. Failure to provide this inbond number will result in the manifest being rejected.
There has been a discrepancy when CAMIR users file a unified manifest with ISF transactions and the transactions have been improperly accepted by AMS. On September 15, 2010, this discrepancy will be corrected and a CAMIR unified manifest with ISF will be properly rejected when the inbond number is not reported with the manifest.
