Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry has announced that the Guidelines to Prevent Bribery of Foreign Public Officials were recently revised. These guidelines are provided to prevent the offense of bribery of foreign public officials, which is prohibited under the Unfair Competition Prevention Act.
