Chartered in 2007, AQIPC advises and recommends agriculture inspection policy and process improvements to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Joint Agency Task Force, and fosters open communication between federal and state agriculture agencies.In addition to CBP and USDA, AQIPC members include state agriculture officials from California, Florida, Minnesota, New York and Tennessee.
