ICAO Adopts Aviation Security Declaration, Signs MOU on Safety Info Exchange

The International Civil Aviation Organization announces that at the 37th Session of the ICAO Assembly, participants adopted a Declaration on Aviation Security and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on a global safety information exchange.

The Assembly also endorsed the ICAO Comprehensive Aviation Security Strategy (ICASS); gave unanimous support for the continuation of the Universal Security Audit Program (USAP); and adopted many resolutions on new programs and policies on safety management.

They also signed a resolution to reduce the impact of aviation emissions on climate change.
