Next COAC Meeting to be Held on Nov 9 in Washington, DC

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a notice announcing that the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Related Homeland Security Functions (COAC) will meet on November 9, 2010 in Washington, DC from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

According to CBP, the tentative agenda for the meeting covers:

  • Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement
  • Agriculture Program Update
  • Air Cargo Security
  • Automation/International Trade Data System
  • The National Strategies to Secure the Flow of Commerce in the Global Supply Chain
  • Bond Issues

According to CBP, the public is invited to submit comments and/or written material on any of the identified agenda items as set forth above. Such materials, comments, etc. are due by November 4, 2010. (See notice for complete submission details.)
