HTS, Schedule B Statistical Changes for CPSC Items and Other Goods
International Trade Commission sources have provided a document listing the statistical changes to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and/or Schedule B which take effect January 1, 2011 (or other dates as noted below).

These changes were approved by the Committee for Statistical Annotation of Tariff Schedules (484(f) Committee).
(According to ITC sources, the 484(f) Committee is responsible for considering government and private sector requests for changes at the 9th and 10th digit level for tariff numbers, their unit of quantity, and/or description.)
HTS and/or Schedule B Revisions
The following changes are scheduled to take effect January 1, 2011, unless otherwise noted.
Tableware; articles of wood; articles of plaster; table, kitchen or other household articles; motor cars and other motor vehicles; seats; other furniture; etc.
At the request of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), HTS breakout changes for a number of subheadings in HTS 3924, 4421, 6809, 7323, 8703, 9401, 9403, 9404, and 9503.

Milk Solids Content
An additional HTS unit of quantity of “Milk solids content.” The effective date for this change, according to a USDA memo, would be the first day of the month following 120 days after publishing of a final USDA ruling in the Federal Register.

HTS statistical breakout changes for HTS 7222.11.00, 7222.19.00, 7222.20.00, and 7222.30.00.
Diamond Sawblades
HTS breakout changes for HTS 8202.39.00.
Threshed or Similarly Processed Tobacco
Schedule B breakout changes for 2401.20.
Sub-bituminous Coal
Schedule B subheading note, statistical note, and breakout changes for Chapter 27 and 2701.19.00. No effective date was listed for this change.
Steel Wind Towers
HTS breakout change for HTS 7308.20.00.
Reinforced Steel Wire Mesh Decking
HTS breakout changes for 9403.90.80. This change took effect November 1, 2010.
