  • Yemen, Somalia, printer cartridge, toner restrictions, penalties. The Canada Gazette contains the interim order on its mail, cargo and baggage ban for Yemen and Somalia, and ban on printer and toner cartridges weighing one pound or more. The order also lists maximum individual and corporate penalty amounts of $5K and $25K, respectively. (See ITT's Online Archives or 11/23/10 news, 10112316, for earlier BP summary.)
  • Beef and veal TRQ. DFAIT states that interim allocations will be given to those 2010 quota holders who have applied for a share of the 2011 beef and veal TRQ.
  • Vehicle restraints and booster seats. The Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities has announced an extension to December 31, 2011, of the transition period for the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations. The original implementation date was January 1, 2011.
