  • China to appeal ruling in U.S. AD/CV dispute. The World Trade Organization has circulated to WTO members an appeal by China of the panel's report in "U.S. - Definitive Antidumping and Countervailing Duties on Certain Products from China" (DS379). Among other things, China believes that the panel erred in its interpretation of the terms "public body" and "subsidy." (In October 2010, the panel approved the U.S.' application of both AD and CV duties on certain goods from China. (See ITT's Online Archives or 10/25/10 news, 10102509, for BP summary.)
  • Trade in aircraft. The Committee on Trade in Civil Aircraft has posted its annual report on its 2010 activities. (The U.S. is one of the 31 signatories to the WTO Agreement on Trade in Civil Aircraft.)
