- New food labeling rules. The Council in charge of Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer affairs reached an agreement on a draft regulation regarding food labeling to. The Council agreed that labeling of energy value, quantities of certain nutrients, and labeling of country of origin should be compulsory.
