- Lamy discusses WTO accessions. Director-General Pascal Lamy, in his second annual report on accessions issued on December 8, 2010, said the value of merchandise and services trade of recently-acceded WTO members has grown faster than the world average. He said the outlook in 2011 is “positive” with several accession negotiations “poised for conclusion.”
