Harmonized System Update – Changes to the 2010/2011 HTS
CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing recent changes to the 2010/2011 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HS Update No. 1006). This update contains contains 34,598 ABI records and 6,073 harmonized tariff records.

Modifications include the annual special program staged rate reductions. In addition, changes were made as a result of the 484(f) Committee. These modifications are effective January 1, 2011. Adjustments required by the verification of the 2010 HTS are also included.
The modified records are currently available to all ABI participants and can be retrieved electronically via the procedures indicated in the CATAIR.
