Port of Long Beach Posts Strong Cargo Numbers in November
The monthly container cargo count at the Port of Long Beach remained strong with a 24.6% increase in November compared to the same period a year ago. Overall, the Port moved 558,307 twenty-foot equivalent container units last month compared to 448,151 in November 2009.

Imports were up 20.2% to 274,480 TEUs, and exports were up 24.8% to 142,628 TEUs. Empty container moves were up 33.8% to 141,199 TEUs.
