- AD duty on bikes from China. CBSA issued a D-memorandum on the continued injury found by the CITT for the AD order on certain bicycles originating in or exported from Chinese Taipei and the People’s Republic of China.
- Non-bonded hwy carrier and forwarders forms. CBSA states that that the application forms to transact non-bonded highway carrier operations at point of arrival in Canada (Form BSF329-7) and non-bonded freight forwarder code [to supply electronic supplementary data for advance commercial information (ACI) only, (Form BSF329-9)] are now available in electronic, fill-able, format. Similar changes to the bonded highway and bonded freight forwarders carrier code applications, and remaining modes, are forthcoming.
- Carbopolycyclic diol polymer . The Ministers of Environment and Health find that in relation to the substance Carbopolycyclic diol polymer with carbonic dichloride and substituted phenol ester, a significant new activity is the use of the substance in Canada, in any quantity, in food packaging materials intended for infants up to 18 months of age.
- Polymer with 1,1-dichloroethene and alkyl 2-propenoate. The Ministers of Environment and Health have issued a significant new use activity notice in relation to the substance 2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8-tridecafluorooctyl ester, polymer with 1,1-dichloroethene and alkyl 2-propenoate, noting that a significant new activity is the use of the substance in Canada, in any quantity, other than for use as a component of an oil and water repellent or an anti-soiling agent when they are industrially applied to textiles or carpeting.
