  • China wind power dispute. The WTO circulated the U.S.' request for consultations with China on "China - Measures Concerning Wind Power Equipment" (DS419). (See ITT's Online Archives or 12/29/10 news, 10122910, for BP summary of USTR seeking comments on its request for WTO consultations.)
  • EU-U.S. IT tariff dispute. The U.S. and the European Union announced that they have agreed that the reasonable period of time for the EU to implement the recommendations and rulings in the dispute "EC - Tariff Treatment of Certain Information Technology Products (DS375) will expire on June 30, 2011.
  • U.S. COOL requirements. The chairman of the panel examining "U.S. - Certain Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) Requirements" brought by Canada (DS384) and Mexico (DS386) announced that the panel expects to conclude its work by mid 2011.
