  • Environment negotiations. Between January 10-14, 2011, WTO members reviewed the various proposals on the table covering the Doha mandate related to environment. The discussions indicated that members were ready to move forward in revisiting previous proposals and working on new ones.
  • U.S.-China wind measures dispute. Japan announced that it has asked to join the U.S. in consultations regarding "China - Measures Concerning Wind Power Equipment" (DS419) as it has a substantial trade interest in the dispute.
