The Government of Canada issued the following trade-related notices on January 25, 2011:

  • Canadian and U.S. Export Control Policy. Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) will host a seminar on February 3, 2011 on Canadian and U.S. Export Control Policy. There will also be seminars just on Canada's export controls on February 2 and 3, 2011.
  • Asian Gypsy Moth. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a directive, effective January 10, 2011, on Asian Gypsy Moth (Lymantria Dispar L.). This directive prescribes measures to prevent the entry by vessels and establishment of Asian gypsy moth in Canada.
