  • Registration of medicinal products. On April 30, 2011, the transitional period of seven years to register certain herbal medicinal products expires. All medicinal products, including herbal ones, will need a marketing authorization to be placed on the EU market. (here)
  • EU-Mercosur free trade negotiations. The EU Trade Commissioner will visit Paraguay and Uruguay on February 7-9, 2011 to discuss the advancement of the ongoing EU-Mercosur trade negotiations and to promote bilateral trade relations with the two countries. (here)
  • Recalls. The European Commission has issued its weekly list of measures to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of 26 products in the EU, including certain clothing, electrical appliances, cosmetics, motor vehicles, toys, etc. (here)
