  • Feb 7 DSB meeting. During its February 7, 2011 meeting, the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) agreed to extend to May 24, 2011 the time within which China or the U.S. could appeal the panel report on U.S. import measures on Chinese tires. The DSB also established a single panel to examine safeguard measures imposed by the Dominican Republic on imports of plastic bags and tubular fabric from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.   • Philippines import licensing scheme. The Philippines informed WTO members that its import licensing regime as notified in document G/LIC/N/3/PHL/7 has not been modified and still remains valid for 2011 except for certain noted changes such as replacing one of the Annexes, deleting certain headings, etc. (here)
