  • Baseballs. Commissioner Northup to meet with Louisville Slugger to discuss the CPSIA; 02/09/11.
  • Nat'l impact database. CPSC staff will be attending the National Impact Database Meeting at Virginia Tech; 02/09/11.
  • Chemical alternatives assessment. CPSC Office of Hazard Identification and Reduction staff to meet with University of Massachusetts staff to discuss chemical alternatives assessment; 02/10/11.
  • Fireworks test. CPSC Office of Compliance and Field Operations staff to meet with the American Fireworks Standards Laboratory (AFSL) Standards Committee on the development of an objective test to determine compliance with 16 C.F.R.§1500.17(a)(3) and (a)(8); 02/11/11-02/13/11.
  • Toy fair. Commissioner Adler and staff will attend the Toy Industry of America’s 2011 Toy Fair in New York; 02/14/11-02/15/11.
  • ICPHSO meeting. Commissioner Adler and CPSC staff will attend the 17th Annual Meeting and Training Symposium of the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO); 02/22/11-02/25/11.
  • Pan American product safety event. Chairman Tenenbaum and CPSC staff will speak on the CPSC’s programs and procedures at the Organization of American States (OAS) and Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Regulatory Training Program for Product Safety and Health Authorities; 02/28/11-03/04/11.
