  • Aviation security. At the February 16-17, 2011 plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee, the committee will discuss whether security scanners at EU airports achieve maximum aviation security and will adopt an opinion on the the EU roadmap for a low-carbon energy system by 2050.   • Recalls. The European Commission has issued its weekly list of measures to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of 27 products in the EU, including certain clothes, cosmetics, toys, fireworks, electrical appliances, motor vehicles, etc. (here)
