- Bisphenol A ban effective March 1. A ban prohibiting the manufacture in the EU of baby bottles containing the substance Bisphenol A (BPA) enters into force on March 1, 2011. On June 1, 2011, the ban will also cover the import into the EU and placing on the EU market of baby bottles containing BPA. (here)
- Recalls. The European Commission has issued its weekly list of measures to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of 22 products in the EU, including certain clothing, motor vehicles, chemical products, cosmetics, electrical appliances, etc. (here)
